AS Grenardi Group (the “Company”) informs that by a shareholders’ decision adopted on 18 August 2026 the financial year of the Company has been changed. Previously the financial year coincided with the calendar year from 1 January to 31 December. Going forward, the financial year will begin on 1 October and end on 30 September of the following calendar year. The change is made to better align the Group’s financial reporting cycle with the seasonality of its business. The Group’s peak selling period is concentrated in the last quarter of the calendar year. Under the amended financial year, this peak trading period will fall at the beginning of the financial year, providing a more appropriate basis for assessing the Group’s annual performance and facilitating more effective financial planning and reporting.
The change in the financial year also applies to the Group’s subsidiaries. Certain subsidiaries have already aligned their financial years with the Group, while the remaining subsidiaries will make the respective changes. As a result, the reporting period of the Group’s consolidated financial reports changes accordingly, ensuring a consistent reporting period across the Group.
The transitional financial year is shortened to nine (9) months, from 1 January 2026 until 30 September 2026, and the Company will prepare an audited annual report and audited consolidated annual report for this nine-month period. As the transitional period covers nine months instead of twelve, its results will not be directly comparable with previous or subsequent financial years.
The annual report is published no later than four (4) months after the end of the financial year. Accordingly:
- annual report for the transition period 1 January – 30 September 2026: no later than 31 January 2027;
- first full financial year under the amended financial year: 1 October 2026 – 30 September 2027, with the annual report to be published no later than 31 January 2028.
