Martynas Giga, the current Chairman of the Management Board of Elektrum Lietuva UAB, is stepping down after ten years of service, to be replaced by the former Management Board Member, Neringa Petrauskiene. Martynas has received a new offer and intends to pursue his professional career in another non-energy-related sector.
Under the management of M. Gigas, Elektrum Lietuva has achieved significant growth rates in the areas of trading, renewable energy sources and the development of the electric vehicle charging network, becoming the fastest-growing player in the Baltic energy sector. Elektrum Lietuva has grown into a company that several of the largest public and commercial companies of Lithuania work with, providing services used by more than 200,000 customers in Lithuania.
Neringa Petrauskiene, who has been a Member of the Management Board of Elektrum Lietuva in charge of sales, takes over the role of Chairman of the Management Board of Elektrum Lietuva.
Elektrum Lietuva UAB is a 100% owned subsidiary of Latvenergo AS, operating in the trade of electricity and natural gas in Lithuania.
