At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of SIA “Rīgas ūdens” held on 21 April, a decision was taken to extend the term of office of Management Board Member Normunds Zvaunis for a further five years, until 14 May 2031. In addition to N. Zvaunis, the Company’s Management Board also comprises Chairman of the Board Krišjānis Krūmiņš and Board Member Agnese Ozolkāja.
Normunds Zvaunis has been a member of the Management Board of SIA “Rīgas ūdens” since 2010. His current term of office expires on 14 May 2026. Within the Company, N. Zvaunis is responsible for the management of water abstraction, storage and treatment for use, up to supply into the centralised water distribution network and delivery to the boundary of responsibility; the management of wastewater collection, treatment and discharge into the environment; the coordination of civil protection-related matters; the establishment and management of a unified security and occupational safety system; the management of information technologies and telecommunications; transport management and provision; as well as the management of risk management processes and security measures within his areas of responsibility.
